Position Summary

Hepburn Health Service is an innovative and dynamic rural health and wellbeing service working in partnership with communities across the Hepburn Shire. The four campuses encompass Daylesford, Creswick, Clunes and Trentham.

We will offer this exciting opportunity to an applicant who would work as a Clinical Nurse Consultant or an experienced Infection Control and Prevention Professional. Hepburn Health welcome your application from all interested candidates.

Our EFT is flexible in this position and can be discussed at interview.    

This position is based in Daylesford however travel to the other campuses is required on a regular basis.

Position Title: Infection Prevention & Control Clinical Nurse Consultant or Manager (IP&C)

Department: Clinical Services

Classification: Will depend on qualifications (relocation assistance may be available for the right applicant)

 

 

Selection Criteria Essential: Demonstrate understanding of infection control principles and comprehensive knowledge of AS4187
Essential: Ability to lead accreditation and quality improvement (both ACHS National Standards and Aged Care Standards) as it relates to Infection control
Essential: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels within and external to the organisation
Desirable: A working knowledge of the principles of Acute and Aged Care Funding principles
Essential: Possess ability to prioritise, set goals and objectives and meet deadlines.
Essential: Demonstrated well developed computer skills
Essential: Hold an Infection Control qualification and Immunisation Endorsement or willingness to begin study on commencement of role
